CBRE Tourism Consulting, in conjunction with N1 Strategy Inc. and Amplify Marketing & Communications, has been retained by the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake (“NOTL”) to develop a Five-Year Tourism Strategy, Masterplan and Action Plan. This Plan is intended to provide insights on how best to foster tourism industry leadership and strengthen the local visitor economy, while also defining Niagara-on-the-Lake’s value proposition as a destination. As the Town already has many strong tourism players and partnerships in place, the Plan will leverage the existing strengths, support the further growth of tourism operators, and unlock the potential development for new tourism products and experiences. The Plan will also ensure NOTL has a strong organizational foundation to guide both industry partners and municipal investment. As part of this project, the Project Team is undertaking extensive stakeholder engagement to ensure the Tourism Strategy, Master Plan and Action Plan is rooted in the experience and insights of key stakeholders.
